Solving the most complex medical challenges requires persistence—and big investments in bold science. Today we announced a new commitment of $4.5 billion to build the Lilly Medicine Foundry, a unique facility that will, for the first time ever, combine research and manufacturing in a single location. The Medicine Foundry will be located in the LEAP Research and Innovation District in our home state of Indiana. This significant investment - not only for Lilly Research Labs (LRL) – but across the industry demonstrates our commitment to efficiently making the best medicines from discovery to development, and then ultimately to patients. https://e.lilly/4dvidOw #WeAreLilly

Kids need programs like Project Stepping Stone. Launched in 2004, PSS brings Latino students together from around Indiana, to participate in a week-long college prep program that includes tours across campuses and in-person conversations with the state’s top professionals. One of Project Stepping Stone’s alums is our very own Edgar Estrada, a Learning and Development Associate who’s been with the company since graduation—after a tour of our Indianapolis campus during his PSS experience. This Hispanic Heritage Month, we want to recognize and thank organizations like Project Stepping Stone for being a bright light for kids (and future employees!) across our home state. #WeAreLilly

Today is our annual Global Day of Service: when we ditch the video calls, leave the laptops at home and give back to the places we love.
