We recently hosted AbsoluteCare’s first Provider Summit, bringing together all our Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers in Washington, DC. It’s a time to bring together all our providers – Primary Care Providers, Psychiatrists, and Community-Based Nurse Practitioners and renew our sense of purpose, identify opportunities, and strengthen the connection to our mission to go #beyondmedicine for the most vulnerable members of our communities. Thank you to Alice Hm Chen and Melissa Clarke for their time and presentations during our sessions. It was an event full of insights and collaboration to drive better care and outcomes for our members.

AbsoluteCare's CEO Michael Radu recently moderated an inspiring panel at #MHPA2024 alongside Darrell M. Gray, II, MD, MPH, FACG Amy Miller-Bowman MPA, CHIE and Beejadi Mukunda. The discussion centered on payer-provider partnerships' critical role in addressing social determinants of health and improving outcomes for vulnerable Medicaid populations. Too often, payers and healthcare providers are at odds when treating people, especially vulnerable and complex populations. Collaboration between both parties is vital to building trust, enhancing care coordination, and reducing unnecessary hospital visits.
