The bus industry is always on call to assist before, during and after emergency events. Case in point. Our staff in South Florida helped The Harid Conservatory evacuate to Georgia out of Hurricane Milton’s path. The school noted driver Leo was excellent during the evacuation operation. Similarly, we assisted the The Arbor Company moving residents from Barrington Terrace in Fort Meyers to their sister community in Pompano Beach. “Your drivers were great and very thoughtful about our residents and team. They were definitely more than just driving us, they were part of the team.” - Martine MacNeil Thank you to both organizations for trusting us last week. We know the way!

For the past several weeks we've been supplementing NJ TRANSIT River Line Light Rail service with buses. The service connects Camden and Trenton running along the Delaware River consisting of 30 stops over 34 miles. To say the riders of the service appreciated our efforts would be an understatement. Case in point, Westampton, New Jersey driver Myesha received a nice gift from customers on our last day of service earlier this week. We're thankful to the community for appreciating our efforts during this temporary service. Also, kudos to Myesha and all of our drivers for a job well done. We know the way!

Time flies when you’re having fun. Today marks our one year anniversary of operating from Richmond, Virginia. Thank you to the staff and drivers who joined us from James River Transportation. Grateful for the customers we have met and moved this year. Looking forward to year 2 and beyond. We know the way!

A busy Saturday in New Jersey at the NWS Earle Navy Base providing shuttle services for the commissioning ceremony of the USS New Jersey submarine. The submarine, the third naval vessel to carry the New Jersey name, is the Navy's newest submarine and the first gender-integrated built for both male and female sailors. The submarine was built in Newport News, Virginia and sailed into the Jersey Shore area earlier this month. Thank you to our staff and drivers from our Leonardo and Toms River, New Jersey terminals for their efforts. We know the way!

That’s a wrap. Three weeks of event shuttle services at the US Open were completed earlier this week. Our team and drivers worked around the clock to transport the television provider and general event staffs to the US Tennis Center in Queens to various locations around New York City. This year the tournament surpassed one million attendees setting a record. We’re thankful to be included in this massive event and are already looking forward to next year. We know the way!

Happy to report the successful start of the Bergen and Passaic County NJ TRANSIT local contract service earlier this week. Our staff worked tirelessly to prepare and execute the overnight transfer of the service at our new Hackensack location. We are excited to begin this operation and look forward to serving the residents of Bergen and Passaic countries. We know the way!!

What do you do when clients Liverpool Football Club and the New York Yankees are staying at the same hotel in Philadelphia? Of course you take a photo! Nice work by drivers from our Westampton and Hoboken terminals in New Jersey making sure these high-profile clients were serviced properly. Building and maintaining trust with our clients is very important. These gentlemen do it well. We know the way!

We like to periodically highlight an employee through our "Get to Know" digital series. Jason Hall is the General Manager of our Richmond, Virginia terminal, the newest market in our service area. He came over to Academy as part of the acquisition of James River Transportation, a company his family owned and operated. His experience in the industry is extensive and started when he was 16 years old. Get to know more about Jason here >> https://lnkd.in/e9EswWUr We know the way!

A few weeks ago, our drivers and staff operated a shuttle service at the US Open in Pinehurst, North Carolina for the United States Golf Association (USGA). Fortunately, our vast experience operating event shuttles provides a blueprint for success at major golf tournaments and beyond. Also, we've added to our event capabilities by hiring an event sales/operations staff person to identify opportunities plus oversee pre-event planning, on-site requirements and post-event reconciliation. This added attention to detail provided us with the opportunity in Pinehurst as well as many events beyond our Boston to Miami service area. We know the way!
