About us
The Arbor Company is an Atlanta-based operator of more than 45 independent living, assisted living, and dementia care communities, serving seniors in 11 states. With more than 30 years of dedication and experience, we strive to deliver the highest quality care and service to residents and their families. Our commitment to those we serve is surrounded by our focus on finding and keeping the absolute best staff who all share a common goal of making deep connections with our residents. We back this up through our extensive training and development programs for all staff, ensuring that everyone is equipped to perform their role. With innovative approaches to senior living, we see the results of our efforts throughout our communities. Like with our Engaged Living program, which creates meaningful moments through structured activity and spontaneous interactions, filling each day with the right balance of purpose and fun. Or Dining With Dignity, an award-winning dining preparation technique that allows all residents to retain independence and dine from the same menu. At Arbor, we know this is more than a job. And it's more than senior living. We're here because we love seniors and want to provide the absolute best care for them. The Arbor Company is certified as a Great Place to Work and is on the exclusive Fortune Best Workplaces in Aging Services list. Plus, 35 of our communities have won at least one U.S. News Best Awards in senior living.

Today, we honor and celebrate the rich cultures, traditions, and resilience of indigenous peoples worldwide. We are grateful for their immeasurable contributions to our culture and society. On Indigenous Peoples’ Day, let us recommit to listening to their voices, learning from their wisdom, and working together to build a more just and inclusive future for all.

The dedication and teamwork shown by the team at Barrington Terrace of Fort Myers during the evacuation ahead of Hurricane Milton highlights their commitment to residents' safety and well-being. Their coordinated efforts are inspiring and a testament to the care they provide every day. Check out this article by WGCU Public Media to learn more about how they did it. Thank you to Academy Bus for safely transporting our residents to our sister community, The Preserve at Palm-Aire, in Pompano Beach.

In the spring of 2024, The Arbor Company partnered with Frontline Housing to launch the Financial Achievement Club for full-time Georgia team members. Over six months, participants attended monthly sessions on budgeting, credit scores, and home buying. They were asked to save at least $100 per month for six months and improve their credit score by 30 points. In turn, they would receive matching funds from The Arbor Company. We’re proud to announce that all eight members of the Financial Achievement Club graduated with their full savings match for a total savings of $5,862! A second group of 15 participants is now working towards the same goal. Success stories include Rachel, who boosted her credit score by 20 points, Allison, who developed a strong monthly budget, Tara, who's on track to be debt-free, and Adline, who saved $626 with plans to start her own business in the future. Congratulations to our FAC graduates for taking charge of their financial stability and setting themselves up for future success!

This week, we celebrate the hard work and dedication of our housekeeping and maintenance staff. They work tirelessly to keep our community spaces clean, safe and well-maintained. Please join us in thanking our housekeeping and maintenance staff for all that they do. Their work often goes unnoticed, but it is essential to our everyday lives. This week, make sure to let them know how much you appreciate their work and take a moment to recognize and celebrate the contributions of our housekeeping and maintenance staff.
