2024 CHAMPION THE CURE CHALLENGE Sadly, we ALL know someone who has been affected by cancer. On August 17, a team from Acadia FCU will join thousands of like-minded supporters and participants to raise funds for the annual Champion the Cure Challenge Walk/Cycle/Run event in Brewer. The sole purpose of this meaningful event is to support local cancer research and patient care, while providing local patients the opportunity to receive the newest life-saving drugs, without having to seek out-of-state treatment. Our team here at Acadia FCU is gearing up to help make this another successful fundraising year! LEADERSHIP MAINE: JUSTIN SHARES HIS STORY Acadia's Business Development Officer, Justin Dubois, ACSR, graduated from the Maine Development Foundations Leadership Maine program in May. Over the past 30 years, Leadership Maine has graduated over 1,100 growth-oriented professionals who are leading the way in driving economic growth throughout Maine. Justin graduated from the "Eagle" class and was selected as one of two speakers at the graduation; Maine Development Foundation recently shared it on their YouTube channel. Please take few minutes to hear Justin speak about his leadership journey. CELEBRATING OUR COLLECTIONS TEAM! Our internal team of culture-builders — our SWAT (Super Wicked Awesome Team) — helps spread fun and cheer throughout our eight branches in northern Maine and Bangor. One of their plans for 2024 is to celebrate various groups and departments who collectively make Acadia an exceptional workplace. The next group being recognized are our collectors – the dynamic duo of Kate and Cindy! Their dedication and relentless efforts have made a significant impact on our credit union. Whether it's tackling tricky situations or just being there with a friendly smile, they've got it covered. Through their hard work, they have not only helped us maintain our financial health but also supported our members in navigating their financial challenges. Kate and Cindy, we appreciate your commitment to excellence and we are grateful to have such outstanding individuals on our team. Thank you for all that you do!

HAPPY 35 YEARS! It's absolutely incredible in this day and age when we can celebrate SUCH longevity in the workplace. We are proud and honored to have this loyal, longtime teammate among our ranks: July 10 marks 35 years of service for Patty Michaud, our St. Agatha branch manager!
