This is a Hybrid role that requires working onsite 3 Days/Week. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the installation, configuration, and management of VMware vSphere environments. (7, 8) Monitor and maintain virtual infrastructure, including VMs, hosts, and storage. Perform routine system checks and monitoring to ensure high availability and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve VMware-related issues, including performance tuning and optimization. Collaborate with senior team members to implement virtualization best practices and policies. Assist in creating and maintaining documentation related to virtualization environments. Participate in system upgrades, patch management, and backups. Provide support for disaster recovery planning and testing. Stay current with emerging VMware technologies and trends. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 1-2 years of experience in IT, with a focus on virtualization or systems administration. Basic knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi, and related technologies. Familiarity with network and storage concepts as they relate to VMware environments. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies. VMware Certified Associate (VCA) or other relevant certifications is a plus.
