ABCD is a neighborhood-based nonprofit organization that each year provides more than 100,000 disadvantaged residents in Boston, Malden, Medford, Everett and the region with the tools and resources needed to transition from poverty to stability and from stability to success. ABCD uses a comprehensive approach that addresses the range of barriers faced by people living in poverty, from day-to-day crises to creating opportunities for jobs/careers, education, and much more.

ABCD’s Climate Equity & Impact team empowers low-income households statewide to participate in the transition to clean energy by providing a comprehensive whole building approach to maximize energy savings, greenhouse gas reductions, comfort and safety in all types of income-eligible housing. Co-founder of the Low Income Energy Affordability Network and lead vendor for Eversource Energy, ABCD leads a collaborative community action effort.
