Last week we had our longest serving employee retire. Ian was with the business since 1996, his invaluable contribution has seen the business develop, change and shape Adex into what it has become today. We had a great send off at Ascot Races with many faces he’s worked with over the years coming to celebrate with him. We can’t thank him enough for all his years of hard work, dedication, patience and commitment to sharing his wealth of knowledge to the wider team - we’re sad to see him go, but excited to hear about how he’ll be spending his time. Our site in Putney is progressing well. Scaffolding team have erected their structure which is phase one complete. We’ve got to investigate and rectify a leaking roof and water issues down the inside of the brick slip cladding along with some potential fire rating issues throughout the property. In order to complete the roof works we’ve got a complex phase plan to move all mechanical equipment located on the plant deck, keeping as much working to serve the occupied offices and bank below. Our director Tony Wood is taking the lead on this with Daniel Latimer from our electrical division, Adex Electrical assisting with the M&E elements. #construction #londonconstruction #AdexInteriors #AdexElectrical
