Now in its 60th year, NACDA is the professional and educational Association for more than 22,000 college athletics administrators at more than 2,200 institutions throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. NACDA manages 18 professional associations and four foundations. In addition to virtual programming, NACDA hosts five major professional development events in-person annually. We loved our trip to the West Coast and appreciated the opportunity to come together with our loyal partners at the Fiesta Bowl to highlight the good work that SJSU student-athletes are doing in their community! 🤝
The #FiestaBowl and NACDA traveled to San Jose this weekend to present the San Jose State Athletic Department with the 2023-24 Community Service Award at the Spartans football game vs. Boise State. Over 500 San Jose State University student-athletes participated in multiple service projects in 2023-24, completing over 20,000 hours of service. The scope of their project centered around addressing social and racial injustices, elevating youth from marginalized communities and providing support and advocacy for individuals impacted by life-altering conditions. Congratulations Spartans, keep up the amazing work!
