I have always been a history buff and love to know the story behind things. Now that it has been 150 years plus 1 day for ADT, I would like to reflect on our history. Any company that has been around that long and celebrated a #sesquicentennial is going to have an interesting story. Whether it is Macy's, Colgate, DuPont, or now ADT, it is always interesting to see how a company started and then evolved through the decades to become the company it is today. ADT has been around since the invention of the telephone, through WW2, at the dawn of the internet, and much more. This timeline video showcases some of the many highlights of ADT's storied history. Wrapping up an incredible summer at ADT, and I can honestly say it’s been the most impactful and resourceful experience of my career thus far! My journey as a Technical Project Management Intern has not only shaped my future in business technology but also provided me with invaluable insights into product and project management. Key Highlights of My Internship: 1️⃣ Capstone Project - Unlocking Potential: Integrating Analytics for ADT+: I had the privilege to analyze and develop a comprehensive plan to implement analytics through Google Analytics and Dynatrace. This project aimed to address and solve key issues within the ADT+ application, and I’m thrilled to share that my work led to the creation of a dedicated mobile team tasked with bringing these changes to life! 2️⃣ AI Case Competition Winner: I’m proud to have been part of the team that won the AI case competition. We proposed an innovative AI solution to enhance the HR and Recruiting Department, which was incredibly rewarding and challenging. 3️⃣ Intern Olympics: Winning gold in the Intern Olympics with my amazing team was an absolute blast! Huge shoutout to Kristyn Johnson, Rogit Raaj, Lydia Samuel, and Tashae Gidden for their teamwork and energy. Throughout this internship, I’ve learned so much more about product and project management than I ever imagined, especially with hands-on experience in tools like Confluence and Jira. Additionally, I gained a deep understanding of how crucial analytics are to the entire product development and lifecycle process. Whether it’s diagnosing issues, informing decisions, or measuring success, analytics are integral to every step of improving and sustaining a product. The skills and knowledge I’ve gained here have set a solid foundation for my future in the tech industry. A massive thank you to everyone who supported me during this journey, especially James Knox, Shantanu R., Tiffany Lyons, and Naveen Chhangani. To my fellow interns, thank you for making this summer unforgettable. And a special thanks to Mindy Julius and Tyeasha J Williams for organizing such an incredible internship program. #WeAreADT
