This morning we had the privilege of joining Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas and West Pasco Counties for the Veteran Build Dedication Ceremony for The Rimpson Family. The event was beautiful! Our team has the privilege to again support Warrior Canine Connection and its unique Mission Based Trauma Recovery (MBTR) program. Warrior Canine Connection does life changing work by enlisting Service Members and Veterans to help train service dogs for Veterans dealing with the invisible wounds of war. Veterans Help Group also looks forward to helping educate veterans about disability benefits in a coming newsletter from Warrior Canine Connection over the summer. To wrap up our Leadership Summit last week, we traded our thinking caps for helmets and headed to the action park for go kart racing! 🏎️ Followed by a competitive game of laser tag and fun playing arcade games, it was a great way to kickback and let the team spend some quality time together. 🤝 #leadership #teambuilding

Yesterday, we partnered with WeHero to provide an opportunity for our leaders to give back to the disabled community in a unique way. We had each of them build tambourines for children with developmental disabilities to be used for music therapy. 🪇🥁🎤 Not only was it fun and different, it gave everyone an opportunity to express their creative sides! Huge thank you to WeHero for making the ENTIRE process seamless for us and engaging!

Our leaders learned a lot and laughed a lot yesterday during Day One of our Annual Leadership Summit! Good food, good views and good company!
