We wanted to share a few more photos and another Congratulations to Angel and Dylan for their incredible wins at the MADACS event! 🎉 We’re beyond proud to share that both were recognized for their hard work and dedication. A special note: these awards were determined by blind judging, and our team was up against for-profit companies. Dylan’s category even included maintenance techs from market-rate sites. Their wins aren't just a triumph for non-profit affordable housing – they represent the 'Best of the Best' across all housing types in Minnesota. 👏

Because of you, CJ says she is truly happy. For CJ, finding home was a constant struggle. In a span of only four years, she and her two sons lost their home twice. The buildings they lived in were sold. Each time, CJ had just a month or two to find a new place to live. Later, slumlords and an abusive relationship created havoc for her family again. Read CJ's story here and know that you make a difference when you support Aeon. https://rpb.li/8JV2iL

MADACS Award Nomination Spotlight: Ebba If you make your way to the Elliot Park neighborhood any morning of the school year, you’ll find a maintenance technician standing outside with a group of kids as they wait for the bus. No matter the weather, Ebba waits for the bus to arrive in the morning and the afternoon, every day. Ebba has been serving the residents of his site for nearly 15 years. “It was a rough neighborhood when I started,” he explains, “I just wanted the kids to have someone to look out for them. This isn’t part of my job,” he says, “but I do it anyway.” This is a common refrain for Ebba. For him, being at Aeon is more than work – it’s a passion. We are so grateful to have Ebba on our team and are proud he has been nominated for this year’s MADACS Awards. We’ll be cheering for you tomorrow, Ebba!
