#WNC is a place near and dear to Payer Relations Associate, Kelsy Mitchell and her husband, Drake. With the help of their community, friends, and church, they were able to raise between $5-6,000, which funded relief efforts in Waynesville, NC. ⤵️ Yesterday, a team delivered much-needed supplies to Waynesville and worked alongside local volunteers to reach areas in desperate need. After clearing driveways and trees to speed up power restoration, they returned home to even more donations thanks to the generosity of friends, family, and colleagues. Today, the team is headed back with another load of supplies for those who need it most. Also, a special shoutout goes to Shaina Clark for being such a huge asset and helping in this #HopeAfterHelene story!

Kiera Walsh, CD(DONA), CLC, B.S., a Charleston, South Carolina employee, knew she had to step up and support moms and babies in need after Hurricane Helene's destruction. Through a partnership with #OperationWashBox, she was able to raise $1,065+ to help buy essential items like bottle brushes, wipes, bleach, dish soap, washcloths, and detailed instructions for safely sanitizing feeding supplies even when basic utilities aren’t available. Today's #HopeAfterHelene story showcases the incredible dedication of Adreian Blackburn, who stepped up when her community needed it most. ⤵️ "On Saturday after the storm, my husband and I learned that Ashe County desperately needed water. Knowing how crucial this was, we rallied together and raised funds for 2 pallets of water to be delivered to Warensville and Lansing, NC, within 3 hours. From Saturday to Monday, we provided over 6,500 bottles of water. Since then, I’ve been working with Westwood Elementary to meet ongoing needs—supplying water containers, medicine for sickness from contaminated water, and even delivering adult diapers. Our community has truly come together, and it’s inspiring to see so much support for our neighbors." #828strong #WNC

Asheville resident and Aeroflow teammate Neeka Alami jumped into action to help bring #hopeafterhelene to her local community. In less than a couple of days, she was able to raise more than $12,650 to help buy relief supplies that she and her partner delivered to Fairview, Swannanoa, Candler, and other impacted towns!
