About us
The Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame (#AeroMechND) aspires to build a better world for all through its teaching, research, and service missions as a force for good in the world. We offer undergraduate degrees in both aerospace engineering and mechanical engineering as well Master's and Ph.D. degrees in aerospace and mechanical engineering. With a faculty of 37 tenured/tenure-track, 6 teaching and 6 research faculty, #AeroMechND prepares undergraduate students for impactful careers in industry and the pursuit of professional and graduate degrees. Our world-class facilities and interdisciplinary approach to research generates more than $18 million in annual research expenditures and these experiences lead to top industrial, research and academic placements for our graduate students.
