Africa eGovernance Conference reposted this
Developing the eGovernance Framework for Africa It was an absolute pleasure to meet the CEO of the Africa Peer Review Mechanism (APRM), Her Excellency Ambassador Marie-Antoinette Rose-Quatre, during my recent visit to the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) Secretariat in Midrand, South Africa, leading the Africa eGovernance Conference Initiative team. Our discussions centered on a shared vision—leveraging eGovernance as a catalyst for Agenda 2030 and Agenda 2063. Together, we are advocating for a digitally inclusive future and improved public service delivery for African citizens. A key driver of digital transformation across public service and critical sectors is peer learning. By showcasing successful models from different countries, development partners and African Union agencies like APRM can support member states in implementing cost-effective, agile, and transformative eGovernance systems aligned with the SDGs. As a specialized agency of the African Union, APRM plays a pivotal role in fostering policies, standards, and best practices that promote political stability, economic growth, and sustainable development across the continent. We proudly announce APRM as a Co-Host of the Africa eGovernance Conference 2025 in Cape Town, South Africa! This conference will be a landmark gathering for policymakers, technologists, and thought leaders committed to advancing Africa’s digital transformation. Join us as we shape the future of eGovernance in Africa!
