The AGC of Michigan is a full service construction trade association providing services to Michigan's leading general contractors, construction managers, specialty contractors and related construction industry companies. A diverse group of Michigan's leading constructors and industry-related firms make the AGC of Michigan the organization of choice for those associated with the construction industry. In 2007, the Michigan Chapter AGC (founded in 1927) and the AGC, Greater Detroit Chapter (founded in 1916), merged to become the AGC of Michigan. The statewide organization now represents more than 400 members promoting the AGC values of skill, integrity and responsibility. AGC of Michigan is a proud chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America. AGC of America represents more than 32,000 firms, organized into approximately 100 chapters throughout the fifty states and Puerto Rico, and is recognized as the authority in construction-related issues.

Congratulations to our AGC Michigan members on their outstanding safety achievements! This year, 50 of our members participated in the Associated General Contractors of America's Safety Awards, reaching unprecedented levels of success. With an impressive incident rate of just 0.20, our Michigan participants outperformed both the industry average (1.20) and the overall AGC-A chapter average (0.27). Our members worked 29,961,747 hours with only 27 lost workdays. This exceptional performance showcases Michigan's commitment to workplace safety and sets a new standard for the industry. We're proud of our members' dedication to creating safer work environments. Well done!

AGC Michigan hits the road! 🚗 We had a great day visiting three of our valued members on the west side of the state. Great conversations, positive vibes, and a chance to see their impressive work firsthand. Key takeaways from the visits include the workload is solid across the board, members appreciate AGC's support and advocacy and the chapter continues to be highly respected in the industry In the evening, AGC hosted a member mixer at Aperitivo where we sipped, savored and socialized. 🌟🚜 AGC at the BigDig Event! 🚜🌟 This weekend we had an incredible time participating in the BigDig fundraiser, supporting the American Cancer Society’s mission to fight pediatric cancer. It was heartwarming to see the smiles on the kids' faces as they got to operate backhoes, excavators, graders, front-end loaders, and much more! Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this wonderful cause. Together, we are making strides in the battle against cancer. Let’s keep digging for a cure!
