Tommy Newkirk is lending a hand to agriculture from the sky. His family operation, T&M Aerial Spraying, based in Garland, N.C., uses EPA-approved sprays to enhance the growth of crops, allowing for bigger yields. The family increased the number of farmers they work with over the years, creating a need for expansion. To build their business, AgFirst partner AgCarolina Farm Credit, ACA not only helped the Newkirks pay off their plane, but also continued the relationship to help them purchase two more planes and additional land.
