During AETC's hybrid Force Development Summit last week, leaders, experts, and innovators came together to discuss how to modernize training, harness technology, and cultivate agile leadership to keep the Air Force ahead of emerging threats. Discussions included: - How AI-driven curriculum development, competency mapping, and generative AI tools like NIPRGPT are streamlining training efficiency. - Data-driven leadership assessments that are shaping the future of command, ensuring leaders are prepared for complex challenges. - Modernized training approaches, including enhancements in pilot training and force-wide competency mapping, that are refining how Airmen build their skills with precision. - The need to formally recognize specialized skills such as language proficiency and cultural expertise, which is critical for global force management and operational effectiveness. By integrating data, AI, and forward-thinking leadership, AETC is ensuring Airmen are trained, ready, and equipped for the challenges of tomorrow. #ForceDevelopment #OneAirForce #AETC #AI #strategy #learning #technology #leadership #innovation #competencies

The Need For Upskilling In today’s fast-paced world, data drives decisions and we are making sure the force is ready. In a 2023 survey, over 50% of AETC staff rated their data literacy as basic or below -- a gap we can’t afford. Without strong data skills, we risk slower decisions and lost advantages. AETC’s new data literacy initiative is closing that gap by equipping staff with the skills needed to analyze and apply data effectively. How we’re improving: ✅ Mandatory data training for all staff ✅ Focus on key skills like data management, analysis, and visualization ✅ Specialized learning paths in AI and analytics ✅ AI training for senior leaders to drive smart decisions By investing in data literacy, AETC is strengthening its decision-making, readiness, and competitive edge for the future. #DataDriven #MissionReady #Innovation #AirForce #Upskilling
