The Need For Upskilling In today’s fast-paced world, data drives decisions and we are making sure the force is ready. In a 2023 survey, over 50% of AETC staff rated their data literacy as basic or below -- a gap we can’t afford. Without strong data skills, we risk slower decisions and lost advantages. AETC’s new data literacy initiative is closing that gap by equipping staff with the skills needed to analyze and apply data effectively. The 14 CES team introduced the Marten MK2 Pro, a cutting-edge remote-controlled inspection robot, to enhance operational safety and efficiency. Nicknamed "Venom," this state-of-the-art robot was deployed into the confined spaces beneath the base commissary to inspect potential hazards—keeping firefighters out of harm’s way. With its high-resolution camera, rugged terrain capabilities, and extended range, Venom provides real-time reconnaissance in hazardous environments, reducing risk and improving response times.
