3 sentences to give any marketer, designer, or creative instant PTSD: 😱 😱 😱 "Where’s the latest version of X?" Pair it with smart tools to streamline operations, and you’ll be unstoppable. Here’s what to do to ensure you won't get stuck. 🧚♂️ P.S. This Volvo ad is WILD 👀 That's why it works. The best marketing does not tell. It --> SHOWS <-- Ideally? With some drama like this. The Volvo president... Dangled 66 feet above the ocean... Held by a single hook... On a truck... No stunt double. No green screen. Just pure, unadulterated: 😮 "WTF did I just watch?" marketing. Did it work? 1 million+ views says "Ugh, yea" This is the power of SHOWING, not telling. 📌 Friendly reminder B2B: The riskiest thing you can do in marketing? Is play it safe... Show. Don't tell. And bring the drama. When was the last time you saw a B2B launch this wild? Need more of this energy in our space. -- 👋 P.S. Would you stand up there?? I mean we are called Air... But 66 ft in the Air is 😳

A question I'm asked a lot: which B2B startups have good marketing? B2B gets a boring rep, but there are companies going against the grain and having fun with their marketing. Here are my favorites from this week: 1) Air Ariel Rubin is killing it - I always look forward to Air's new drops because I know they'll be slightly unhinged. 2) Kaleidoscope I'm biased but Bogdan is v. thoughtful about content. His blogs are transparent takes that a lot of people in biotech resonate with. Lesson: if you're in a more "serious" industry, elegant editorial-style content is a way to be not-boring & retain customer respect 3) Unify Love Austin and the team's latest happy meal drop. A great way of spreading some fun energy to celebrate a big company milestone (who doesn't love cookies) The common denominator: all of these companies are clearly enjoying their marketing. It's fun to create, so it's fun to consume. And NONE of them are relying on generating boring SEO articles and calling it a day.
How to annoy your creatives: 🗓️ 12 back to back calls. Leave that for Backstreet Boys 🎤 "Backstreets BACK.." "ALL ri..." No? K. Fine. Onto my post then... 👀 Real talk. Collaboration can be HARD. Especially with external partners. So we solved it for you: Very anti-meeting ✨ Very mindful Very zen 📌 Air 4.0 Let's you 👇 → Share assets instantly → Track versions effortlessly → Give feedback asynchronously 💬 The deets: COLLAB IN ONE PLACE → Create public boards for guest uploads directly to your workspace → Leave comments, discuss, and make selects in context → Expire links to remove access when the job's done CONTROL EVERYTHING → Set granular permissions - control who sees what, when → Send and receive content in one centralized tool → Collect content from guests (bye bye, lost emails) TRACK START TO FINISH → Follow projects from start to finish with advanced link permissions → Tie video comments to specific timestamps → Get mobile and email notifications All the collaboration. None of the meeting pain. Now go be a hero. Cancel a meeting ✌️ -- 👋 P.S. What's your meeting record in one day? Biggest number wins a therapy credit.

Today was the greatest day of my life. I was able to collaborate with one of the most brilliant creators of the next generation. The world is not ready for what we made today. New work coming soon. ➡️ Air
👋 Tell me you're a creative. Me: sparklepony73 @ gmail Every creative has been here: Professional you 🤝 sparklepony73 You're adding feedback on an asset. Then you realize... "UGH!" "I'm logged into my personal account" 🙈 You're not alone. So... We set out to solve the problem. Why? Because: → Hunting through countless emails wastes time → Disconnected accounts = messy workflows Creatives need: ✅ Easy collaboration ✅ Centralized feedback ✅ Simple to track and implement So we built it for you in Air. Collaboration for creatives. By creatives. No more "anonymous penguin" feedback. No more searching for "who wrote this???" Easy collaboration. Sparklepony would be proud ✨ -- 👋 P.S. What was your first email account? Beeeeeeeee honest! No judgment 🙃

What if a B2B business could thrive by slashing its marketing budget and go all in on creative, zany approaches to spreading the word? Can SaaS businesses succeed by departing from the classic playbook of (sometimes) awkward webinars and endless Facebook ads? LH head of marketing & communications, Emily Libresco, takes up these questions in her case study of Air and how the company’s unique and radical marketing strategy led to remarkable growth. https://lnkd.in/eDZT6HZj
How you know your marketing is working? When brands copy you. Imitation = Sign you're onto something big. That's why I love this KFC ad campaign 👇 They called out EVERY chicken shop copycat. From AFC to ZFC. Savage. And funny. 👀 Why it works: → Shows KFC's brand confidence → Turns copycats into free advertising → Makes a statement without being too savage ✍️ The lesson? When you're the leader, lean into it. Don't shy away from your position. Great marketing should make you feel something. Ideally with extra crispy swagger. Like this friendly reminder: "There's only one Colonel in town." "And his name is Sanders." /Chicken mic drop 🍗✨ P.S. Speaking of bold moves, we sent 30 "retirees" to protest Dropbox at Adweek which made headlines. Seeing a few brands also running this play recently. We're also flattered 😉 -- 👋 P.P.S. Are you team KFC or Popeyes? (There is a wrong answer...)
