Last night, Airlink had the honor of attending the 30th Anniversary Cargo Facts Symposium Gala Dinner! 🎉 This year marks a decade of Airlink support from Cargo Facts and Royal Media and 15 years of collaboration together. We were delighted to announce that Cargo Facts has committed a $40K donation to Airlink over the next two years as well. This generous commitment helps ensure we’re ready to respond when disasters strike. A special thank you to Airlink Ambassador JJ Hornblass, President and CEO of Royal Media, for his passion for Airlink and invaluable support of our partnership over many years. It was also truly wonderful to have Airlink's Founder, Robert Brown, with us to share remarks representing Airlink alongside our President & CEO, Steven J. Smith. Here’s to celebrating 30 years of Cargo Facts’ success and a decade of impactful partnership! Thank you to the entire cargo industry for making Airlink's mission a reality. We were grateful to spend the evening with many supporters and friends from across the industry. #CFS24 #CargoFacts #CargoFacts2024 #CargoFactsSymposium

Two days after Hurricane Milton made landfall in Florida as a Category 3 storm, at least 16 lives have been lost, and over two million people remain without power. The need for assistance is immense. We've already given flight to responders from six relief partners to reach Florida, but we need to rush many more helping hands to provide urgent support. Please help us provide the gift of flight for more personnel responding to both Hurricanes Helene and Milton. By covering their flight costs, we enable them to allocate more resources to those in need and extend their programs, allowing them to stay on the ground longer. Every contribution makes a difference! 💙 https://lnkd.in/dy8kFfS Learn more about their programs: Operation BBQ Relief, Heart to Heart International, Information Technology Disaster Resource Center (ITDRC), CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort), Red Lightning, and REACH OUT WORLDWIDE | Disaster Relief Non-Profit Organization Milton Airline Partners: American Airlines, United Airlines, and Southwest Airlines #Milton #HurricaneMilton #DisasterRelief

🌟 Wow! 🌟 All of us at Airlink want to extend a massive shoutout and heartfelt thank YOU to every individual involved in the Air Partner "Walk the Wight" charity challenge on behalf of our mission. It was a very early start this morning for our 50 Air Partner global colleagues who are taking on the “Walk the Wight” charity challenge. They boarded the ferry, crossed the Solent, and have begun the epic challenge of walking around Britain’s largest island, the Isle of Wight. Over the next 4 days the team will walk approx. 65 miles (105 km), all in aid of raising awareness and funds for Airlink, Inc., a global humanitarian non-profit organisation delivering critical aid to communities in crisis by providing free airlift and logistical solutions to relief partners worldwide. Good luck to all who is taking part! If you would like to sponsor the team, please donate here: https://lnkd.in/eDqGc44b #Fundraising #TeamEffort #WalkTheWight #Aviation #Challenge

RESPONDING: In mere hours, #HurricaneMilton will make landfall as a Category 5 storm with potential to be the most destructive in Florida’s history. Communities across the state still recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Helene are in the path of another disaster. Airlink has already mobilized to provide travel for our supported partners, who will focus on search and rescue operations and surge healthcare support. However, with Hurricane Milton’s unprecedented strength, we need to send a high volume of responders—and we can’t do it without you. The first 72 hours of a disaster response are the most critical. Help Airlink seize this critical window to maximize our impact and deliver life-saving assistance where it’s desperately needed https://lnkd.in/emf65whp

✨ Meet Madeline! ✨ Madeline arrived in Florida immediately after #HurricaneHelene to create safe spaces for impacted children. The vetted nonprofit partners that Airlink is supporting during the 2024 Atlantic Hurricane Season bring diverse and essential expertise, including specialized childcare services. We’re proud to support her and Project:Camp with special thanks to United Airlines for providing her travel miles. With #HurricaneMilton set to make landfall in Florida tomorrow, Airlink is pre-positioning partners to provide search and rescue and surge healthcare support in the Tampa area. Help us get more responders like Madeline in the air and on the ground now. 🚨 Please consider donating https://lnkd.in/dy8kFfS #VolunteerSpotlight #SupportResponders #DisasterRelief #Airlinked ✈️

One year ago, Airlink scaled our response to the humanitarian crisis in #Gaza and we remain steadfast in our mission of transporting urgently needed humanitarian aid and personnel to support the population in need, despite ongoing logistical challenges. To date, we’ve supported the response efforts of 14 partners, flown 80+ responders, and helped reach nearly 2 million people with life-saving aid. We’ve also saved our partners over $1 million in transport costs. By mobilizing over 400 tons of relief supplies, including 5 mobile hospital units, we continue to deliver critical healthcare support, along with shelter materials, baby and feminine hygiene products, food and nutrition items, and essential water, sanitation, and hygiene kits. Millions of people require humanitarian assistance, and through the support of Airlink’s donor base, airline partners, and nonprofit partners on the ground, we will continue to help our nonprofit network respond to the growing civilian needs in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, and the surrounding region to deliver the right aid to the right place at the right time.

MONITORING: Airlink is closely tracking the path of #HurricaneMilton, now a powerful Category 5 storm with sustained winds of 160 mph, as it heads toward Florida’s Gulf Coast. Life-threatening storm surges, damaging winds, and heavy rainfall are forecasted along the west coast, with flash flooding risks extending to central and eastern Florida. What’s especially concerning is that Milton will strike communities still reeling from the devastation of #HurricaneHelene just 10 days ago, further complicating recovery efforts. The compounding effects of back-to-back storms are putting immense strain on resources, making timely support and coordinated responses more critical than ever. Airlink is standing by to help our partners navigate multiple responses. Stay tuned for updates.
