In March, we hosted an International Women’s Day celebration, featuring delicious offerings from Myers+Chang, a local Boston restaurant co-owned by the talented Joanne Chang, including fun themed cocktails like the Joan Collins and Shirley Temple. To round out the evening, we watched a documentary about famed female basketball star, Lusia Harris. This was a wonderful opportunity to honor the hardworking women on our team and women everywhere! And in April, Akouos team members had two unique opportunities to celebrate the planet we call home. First, we took a break from our workday to (safely) experience the once-in-a-generation solar eclipse. Later in the month, we celebrated Earth Day by planting herb seeds and enjoying “dirt cups.” This spring has offered opportunities for our team members to enjoy quality time together and we are grateful!
