We had amazing time hosting the Ohio teams of Cornerstone Caregiving at the Akron RubberDucks game today! It was great to take a beautiful afternoon and spend it at the ballpark! ⚾️ Thank you to all of the folks who came today, many driving several hours to be with us and one joining from Texas! It was fantastic taking the time to get to know one another. All too often we forget about the personal side of business. It’s always the most important part!

When building a business, sometimes the small moments that matter most . Last night, my heart was full as we welcomed back many of our front office Akron RubberDucks alumnae at our annual “homecoming“ reunion game. Tremendous thanks to Christina (Urycki) Dankoff who took the lead in planning this special night. While our business continues to grow each season — these faces (and many not pictured!) are just some of many stars that have built this amazing place and team. It was a thrill to welcome them back home.
Today we volunteered at the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, along with our Helping Hands Partner Paul Davis Restoration of Cleveland Metro and Akron to package cereal!

The Cleveland Guardians, Lake County Captains and Akron RubberDucks will team up for a second year in a row to host Play Ball Weekend. Play Ball Weekend will feature an on-field camp, hosted by Lake County Captains players and guests, providing kids a fun and engaging environment to learn various baseball skills. In addition to the on-field camp, attendees will have the chance to meet Lake County Captains mascots and players, Akron RubberDucks mascots, and Cleveland Guardians alumni.
