Last night’s ‘VC Primer: Investing in Women’ was an insightful deep dive into the power of investing in women-led companies. A huge thank you to Sara Brand, Ph.D., and Kerry Rupp, General Partners at True Wealth Ventures, for sharing their valuable insights on venture capital and the impact of gender-lens investing. We explored the power of women-led startups, learned how to navigate the VC space, and discussed the importance of diversity in driving financial success. The session empowered our community to think boldly about becoming investors and supporting female entrepreneurship. The evening wrapped up with our Monthly Pitch event, where three incredible female-led companies (Ana Sofia Romero and Emma Lemmen Meyer with Gloset, Therese Canares, MD, MBA with CurieDx, and Zahra Biabani with In The Loop) presented their investment opportunities. Yesterday, we celebrated our 3rd Annual Venture Brunch. With mimosas flowing, delicious breakfast bites, and an energetic atmosphere, this event brought together over 100 investors and founders for a morning of meaningful connections and insightful exchanges.
