What: Open House for Industry Partners only (we have a different event the day before for our school community) Who: Current and Prospective Industry Partners, Current Bulldog Manufacturing Students When: November 7th, 2024, from 4:30PM – 6:30PM [Thurs.] Where: Alden High School, 13190 Park St., Alden NY 14004. (Park and enter in the Tech Wing Rear Lot near Door K and L) Why: Mix with like-minded industry professionals to positively influence our collective public education system. Recruit future employees, current interns and co-op students in Machining, CAD-CAM, Welding, Business Administration, Robotics, Tech Support. Identify projects for student collaboration with your business. See our equipment and capabilities (CNC and Manual Mills and Lathes, CNC Router and Plasma Tables, Laser Engravers, Welding, 3D Printing, CAD) Connect dedicated students directly with industry partners and provide them with opportunities to succeed after high school Build and strengthen relationships with companies in our region and beyond. As a leading student-run manufacturing company in NYS, our program allows students to gain real world experience working at a business in an educational environment. Staff (students) from our sales, business, design, marketing, manufacturing, and CAD departments will be available for the entirety of the event to meet with industry partners. They will be able to provide information on how the company operates and answer any questions you may have. The event will be held in our lively company space, allowing industry partners to explore our shops, machinery, and office. Through hosting this open house, we hope to do just that, and continue to build relationships with companies in the surrounding areas.
