We empower hopeful pioneers to design purposeful portfolios and effect systemic change.

About us

The most powerful tool to bring about change is capital. Shaping a new tomorrow depends on understanding how to best use that tool to create systemic change, not just spot solutions. It takes the bold, pioneering few to mobilize their resources in service of their passions. And to lead the many forward. We know something about pioneering. And about mobilizing resources. We created Align Impact over a decade ago because we believed impact investing shouldn’t just “check a box.” We’ve been leaders in this industry since before it was an industry. But this is just the beginning. Align Impact enables forward thinkers to make change. Our collective prosperity relies on strategic, future-proofed choices made with capital held by people invested beyond the bottom-line. That means we’re all about performance– both for you, and in service of the global challenges you care about. Together, we will transform the world with the power of data, not just dreams. We are an independent partner on your sustainable investing mission, providing measurable outcomes that protect the future alongside your family’s legacy. Aligning your values and investments no matter the cause. Reinvesting and reimagining how we make money work to benefit all 8 Billion of us.

  • A Decade of Reimagining Financial Systems What a dream come true. Last week, we celebrated Align Impact’s 10-year anniversary with 90 of the most thoughtful, impact-driven people we’re lucky to know. This milestone marks a decade of working to reimagine financial systems in service of a world that works for all 8 billion people and the planet. Over the years, we’ve partnered with visionary families and foundations to align their portfolios with their values—building a brighter, more inclusive future. But the celebration wasn’t just about looking back. It was about community—reminding ourselves that we’re not alone in this work, even in uncertain times. As we shared a meal and a vision for the future, two themes stood out: ▶️ Intergenerational impact: Change is a marathon, not a sprint. The progress we see today stands on the shoulders of those who fought for justice decades ago, just as future generations will build on the work we do now. ▶️ The power of the collective: No single leader, organization, or family can solve the challenges we face. It’s our shared commitment, collaboration, and action that will create the change we want to see. To our partners, clients, and friends: thank you for being part of this journey. Here’s to the next 10 years of redefining what’s possible ✨

At Align Impact, the women driving this work are rethinking systems and using finance as a tool for meaningful change—take Evelina Durlind, an Associate Advisor on our team, who is committed to ensuring that investments support the people and businesses working toward a more just and sustainable future. “I was looking for ways to contribute to the movements and ideas I believe in. I decided to pursue a Master’s in International Affairs and realized that meaningful change requires more than good intentions—it needs capital. That’s why I am excited to work in finance. For me, impact investing is a tool to back the people and businesses reshaping our world for the better. Investing is powerful, and I am proud to be part of a team that is rethinking systems and using finance to help build a more just and sustainable future.” By approaching capital with intention, Evelina is part of a movement that challenges the status quo and expands the possibilities of what our collective future can look like. #WomenInFinance #ImpactInvesting #InternationalWomensMonth #AlignImpact

Today, we highlight Tamar Honig, Align Impact’s Private Markets Manager, whose work focuses on mobilizing capital for climate solutions. “Capital is a powerful tool for change, positive or negative. I work in investing because I want to be part of harnessing the power of the capital markets for causes I believe in, particularly solutions to the climate crisis. The innovations our planet needs exist, but they require capital to grow and scale. I feel total conviction that I want to dedicate my career to channeling more dollars in their direction.” By focusing on the intersection of finance and climate action, Tamar plays a key role in directing capital toward innovative solutions that address urgent global challenges. #WomenInFinance #ImpactInvesting #InternationalWomensMonth #AlignImpact

  • Continuing our Women's Month celebration, today we spotlight Winter Wall, Align Impact's Chief of Staff and one of our organizational pillars who ensures team members thrive. Winter brings invaluable depth to our leadership team with her distinctive journey through both sides of capital allocation. "For a long time, I worked on the other side of capital—in the NGO space, designing programs and partnerships, constantly procuring capital. Now, I get to work with a passionate and dedicated team, thoughtfully and intentionally designing the ways capital can flow towards solutions to seemingly intractable problems. Rethinking how capital is deployed is likely the most effective way to create durable change; that is why I am at Align, working with an incredible team, dreaming big and championing pioneering clients." #WomenInFinance #ImpactInvesting #InternationalWomensMonth #AlignImpact

  • In the spirit of Women’s History Month, we’re celebrating the women of Align Impact who are reshaping the financial landscape—proving that strong investment strategies and meaningful impact are not mutually exclusive. Take Annemarie Happée, Associate Director of Operations at Align Impact: “For me, working in finance—especially in impact investing—is about leveraging financial resources to drive meaningful change. The way money is allocated shapes the world we live in, and I am deeply motivated by the opportunity to direct capital toward causes that uplift those who have been historically marginalized, overlooked, and actively repressed. Women, in particular, continue to face wage gaps, underrepresentation in leadership, and systemic barriers to financial independence. In the modern political climate, we are seeing renewed efforts to roll back women’s rights—from economic freedoms to bodily autonomy. This is not just frustrating—it is unacceptable. I am proud to work with a team that is actively fighting for equity, inclusion, and financial empowerment. Every investment decision we make has the power to challenge outdated structures, dismantle oppression, and create opportunities for those who have been systematically pushed down. I believe in raising awareness, amplifying underrepresented voices, and ensuring that capital is used as a force for progress. Finance is often seen as a field of exclusion and gatekeeping, but it can also be a space for empowerment, independence, and justice. That is the work I am proud to be part of.” Together, these women are reimagining how capital can work for all of us. #WomenInFinance #ImpactInvesting #InternationalWomensMonth #AlignImpact

Impact Investing | Client Experience | Systems Change @ Align Impact

In the spirit of Women’s History Month, I want to take a moment to celebrate the role women play as financial advisors—starting with one of Align Impact’s brilliant Senior Advisors, Courtney Joyner Gage, CFP® 😊 Six years into my journey at Align Impact, and I’m still in awe of the women I get to collaborate with every day. The way they show up for our clients—with both sharp strategic insight and deep empathy—is something I don’t take for granted. Wealth management isn’t just about numbers; it’s about being a coach, a guide, a steady hand in moments of complexity. And let’s be real—women excel at that. One of my favorite moments from our Annual Align Client Survey was reading a client’s answer to the question, “What are you most proud of?” His response? “Having an all-women team manage my money.” (Did I mention this was a man who said that?! Love to see it.) I keep coming back to this idea: systemic problems require systemic solutions. That’s why I’m so inspired to be part of a women-led firm that’s actively reshaping the financial industry—rethinking who gets a seat at the table, who makes allocation decisions, and ultimately, who builds wealth. And the best part? We’re having fun while doing work that matters. Which women are you celebrating this month?
