Tanyaradzwa Munodawafa, an intern with our People Business Partners team and part of the 10,000 Black Interns Program, shares how she spent her time at AlixPartners. 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹: I just graduated from Nottingham Trent University. 𝗙𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: I am so happy that I had the opportunity to meet the Black Professionals Network ERG. I loved learning about the group and what they do. 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁: There was a project where I learned about mapping. We used LinkedIn Talent Insights to find candidates to fill difficult roles. It was a great learning experience! 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱: While I learned many skills throughout my internship, learning how to use different HR systems, such as Greenhouse, stuck out to me. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘂𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿: As I have recently graduated and moved to London, I am looking forward to finding my first full-time role and beginning my HR careers. As the supply chain recovery workstream lead on an engagement for an aerospace supplier, Manufacturing and Ops SVP Cameron Premo, and his team, was tasked with quickly solving production and delivery delays in the short-term to give time for organizational changes to be implemented. Cameron shares his keys for success on the project, including keeping solutions simple, even for complex challenges, having a collaborative team to bounce ideas off of, and having a project leadership team that trusted and empowered him to own his workstream.
