Really excited to share an update on All Dressed Up! Since launching the business from my very own kitchen last December, I was quickly unable to keep up with demand and outsourced production earlier this year. Since then, we've partnered with the brilliant Mahalo Supplies to help us grow in the independent retail sector. We've also launched our own website, gone live onto DELLI and launched in Bayley & Sage and all Whole Foods Market stores, with more listings to be announced in the next few months. Its been a very steep learning curve, but I've absolutely loved bringing All Dressed Up to life, and look forward to sharing the journey. Our mission is simple. A great day out yesterday at The Grocer food and drink expo at the NEC - lots of really interesting brands and businesses exhibiting. Our overall observation on the big theme is that it's all about more - as it's reported that many consumers now have a little more discretionary income, brands need to give them reasons to justify that spending, and it seems to be through telling them what they get; 1. More health - be it through protein and/or fibre (YuBi Bar, Better Nature Tempeh, NOMADIC), collagen (Ashley Verma at Bizzi, or Jade & Joy), or vitamins (VITHIT) 2. More flavour - typically accompanied by bright design and bold use of colour (Holy Moly | B-Corp™, Potts Partnership, All Dressed Up Dressings) 3. More conscience - doing more good (Jimmy's Iced Coffee, Cano Water®) So the question is - what's your 'more', and is it one your consumers value?

The food and drink industry is full of one kind of person 😡 A PASSIONATE ONE ❤️🔥 You notice this when we come together - like I did last week to speak at Mission Kitchen's Founder's Q&A. Sitting alongside the FAB Joe Hill 🍕 of One Planet Pizza, I was faced with a room full of openness, compassion and excitement. Its the kind of group that make you feel at ease to share your own vulnerabilities (and, your business' challenges). Most of the people there were on their own journeys into FMCG, disrupting categories which have long been unloved and filling them with exactly that: love. I wonder who in that room will be sitting on my seat at that very founders Q&A in a few years time... Thanks to Amy Win and Shanice Bryce for organising, AND OF COURSE our brilliant chair, Ivan Cardoso.
