About us
Alliance Health Center is a 154-bed acute care psychiatric and substance abuse hospital that offers treatment programs for adolescents, adults and senior adults. Our campus is also home to the Crossings, a 60-bed residential treatment facility for adolescents. We are dedicated to serving individuals with acute mental and behavioral health disorders and substance abuse issues. Alliance was originally owned and operated by the Sisters of St. Joseph Hospital as a medical hospital. In 1964, the sisters moved the hospital from downtown Meridian to the present location in Meridian, Mississippi. In 1983, Alliance Health Center began providing the psychiatric and substance abuse treatment services it is known for today.

Last week, our business development team participated in the NAMI Mississippi conference. It was exciting to be part of such a great event! Thank you to all who stopped by our table. And a special shoutout to our sister facilities, Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare and Gulfport Behavioral Health System, who we got to work alongside!

We were honored to participate in the Mental Health Awareness Resource Fair at the Tuskegee VA Hospital. Lonnie Layton, our Director of Business Development, is pictured here with Robin Chappell from the Council on Substance Abuse (COSA). It's great to see these two organizations and many others coming together to meet the needs of the community! #MHAM24
