For the fifth consecutive year, insured losses from natural catastrophes have exceeded $100 billion, reaffirming their position as a top risk #3 in the Allianz Risk Barometer 2025.   In 2024, severe weather events—including hurricanes Helene and Milton, widespread flooding, and significant earthquakes—resulted in total economic losses of $310 billion.
