Had a great time at #CASENAIS2025 in Washington DC earlier this week. It was probably the first conference where I met more current customers of Almabase than potential customers 🥰 The opportunity for independent schools to grow their fundraising programs especially from alumni has never been clearer. It was very impressive to see the creativity of the professionals working in the space. Wrapping up a short but productive visit to the UK 🇬🇧 with several meaningful conversations .. Some of my key observations on the state of educational fundraising there: - Oxford and Cambridge institutions leading the way 🎓 - Impressive alumni engagement campaigns but fundraising techniques evolving slower ⚡ (culture of asking for gifts very different from the US) - Limited staff and budget restricting the growth of fundraising 👥 I am confident Almabase can have a massive positive impact there.
