The best-run businesses run on Rippling.

About us

Rippling is a workforce management system that eliminates the friction from running a business. Today, most companies struggle with everything from routine tasks, like running payroll, to cross-functional planning, like aligning on headcount. That’s because all their data related to people, processes, and systems is scattered in a hundred places. Rippling has every application you need to run your business—from applicant tracking and payroll to IT and expenses—in one place. But unlike other systems, Rippling sits on top of a unified platform. Data flows dynamically between Rippling’s applications, giving every team a shared source of truth, the power to automate processes, and access to the insights they need. This allows your business to execute better, faster. Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.2B from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock. You didn’t get into HR to chase down payroll errors, manually update employee data, or juggle disconnected tools. You got into HR to build people programs, shape culture, and drive your company forward. For too long, HR leaders have been stuck in relationships with bad software—systems that slow them down with manual tasks, create more problems than they solve, and keep them from doing the work that truly matters. That’s why we’re launching “Because HR Deserves Better”—a campaign dedicated to every HR professional who’s been held back by outdated systems. Tell us about the bad software you’re ready to leave behind and dinner’s on us 👉 https://lnkd.in/gmM4GgeE Because HR deserves better. And the time is now.

  • Congrats again to every founder who pitched this week at Y Combinator Demo Day! Despite the rain, W25 really brought the energy. To every founder that stopped by our coffee cart, it was so fun getting to be a part of your big day ☕ We have no doubt that the founders coming out of this batch will go on to build world-changing products. When you are ready to make that first hire and build a solid back-office foundation so you can scale, Rippling has your back 💪

    Co-Founder @ Nowadays - We're hiring!

One of our first customers paid $500 out of her own pocket to plan a 15-person offsite—because her boss expected her to pull it off on top of her full-time job. That’s when we knew we were solving a massive problem. Before then, my sister Anna Sun and I had both spent way too much time planning large-scale events—Anna as class president at MIT, and me coordinating team events at Google and Facebook. We knew firsthand how manual and time-consuming corporate event planning still was, and it was clear that teams everywhere were facing the same pain. So we set out to make it 10x easier. Nowadays (YC S23) automates everything from vendor outreach to budget management, so teams can actually focus on the event—not the back-and-forth. Since launching last year, we’ve already booked $7M+ worth of events for companies like Google, Notion, and Amazon—and we’re just getting started. Thanks Rippling for sharing our story! We’re lucky to have you powering our back office so we can stay focused on building :)

  • 💛 This year, to celebrate Women’s Month, we're featuring some of the incredible women in our Rippling Wavemakers program and asking them share their HR journey, starting with the incredible Michelle Colangelo. 🙌 “The best part about HR is that every day is different” says Michelle, “I love being in a role that allows me to support employees, solve problems, and help create a positive work environment”. 🏢 Michelle's career in HR began as an Account Manager where she supported clients before transitioning into sales. She was soon recognized for her strengths in supporting employees and was encouraged to explore HR. 🧭 That pivotal moment led her to a career she truly loves—helping employees find solutions, creating better workplaces, and making a tangible impact. 🏗️ Since then, Michelle has built HR departments from the ground up, leading organizations through major integrations, and developing policies that balance employee needs with business growth. 🏆 Today, at Sibros, she continues that journey—collaborating on HR strategies across the full employee lifecycle, foster innovation, and helping drive success. 💌 Her advice to other women in the space? Don’t give up. “HR—like many fields—can come with challenges, but perseverance is key”, she says. "Build strong relationships and advocate for yourself—your perspective and contributions are valuable. And most importantly, support other women in their growth. There’s power in lifting each other up” 🫶 In the spirit of sharing the love, we asked Michelle—who are some women in your life that inspire you? Her answers: ✨ Debra Kurth, J.D.—an exceptional leader who exemplifies professionalism, kindness, and compassion, proving that true leadership is built on both expertise and empathy. ✨ Lauren Yankoff—who reminds her that prioritizing yourself and setting healthy boundaries is not only okay but necessary. ✨ Denise Ferre—who navigates challenges with grace and exemplifies that true leadership is defined by expertise, vision, and integrity. ✨ And last but not least, Mel Robbins, who makes her laugh, and reminds her not to sweat the small stuff. Shoutout to Michelle for her work in revolutionizing the HR space 👏 ➡️ Do you know a woman in HR who deserves to be celebrated? Tag them in the comments below!

🎉 Happy Demo Day! 🎉 A huge congratulations to the W25 batch on reaching this milestone. After months of building, iterating, and refining your vision, today is the day you get to share it with the world. Building a startup is risky, but HR, payroll, and managing your back office shouldn’t be. That’s why so many Y Combinator founders choose Rippling. Four F24 YC founders share why they picked Rippling as their all-in-one HR and payroll partner (spoiler alert: it’s so they could get back to building—faster.) Rippling is a YC company, too. We know what it takes to move fast, scale smart, and stay focused on what really matters. YC companies love Rippling. See why. 👇

Country Head & SVP of Engineering -- We are growing & hiring in Bangalore !!!

This week, I was thrilled to co-host the first “Rippling Presents” series in India held in Bangalore this week. This events theme "Operating in Founder mode in hyper growth organization," really resonated with the guests and we got overwhelming interest for participation. Albert Strasheim kicked off the evening welcoming the speakers, guests and Ripplers and setting the context of the evening. I had the privilege of hosting a lively conversation with Dale Vaz, Varun Khona, Jitendra Agrawal, Vinayak Hegde, Ajay CB, and Rohan Prabhu, diving into exactly that. It was fantastic to hear their experiences, challenges, creating and maintaining founder mode culture and operating like a high performing sports team where everyone is pushing the limits of possible and challenge each other. Especially hearing from Ajay and Rohan, ex-founders, on how they are thriving at Rippling. What struck me the most was how deeply Rippling's culture encourages everyone to think and act like a founder. The energy was incredible, and it reinforced how exciting it is to be part of building something special here. Thank you Mahesh Suthar, Rekha Nair, Jennifer Hasche, Athulya B. and many other ripplers for putting together a fantastic evening, great content, fantastic participants. It was a memorable evening. I'm already looking forward to the next one! #RipplingIndia Kartik Sura, Balram Khichar, Nimish Bhonsale, Rahul Singh, Asutosh Swain, Arun Prakash, Sumitra Laishram
