Advocacy Win Spotlight: We accomplished some big things this year, and this was one of the most notable. Thanks to our advocacy efforts, almond-based dairy alternatives are now part of the WIC program. This inclusion marks a significant step for the almond industry.

The Almond Alliance is the only trade association fully dedicated to advocating & protecting the almond industry.
About us
The Almond Alliance (formerly known as the Almond Huller and Processors Association) was established in 1980 to serve the almond industry in a capacity that isn’t available through any other organization. The Almond Alliance is dedicated to educating state and federal elected officials, policymakers and regulators about the California almond community. As a membership-based organization, our members include almond processors, hullers/shellers, growers and allied businesses. The Almond Alliance represents over 80% of the almonds processed in California. While we have strong domestic membership we also have a number of international members making our organization and network global. Almond Alliance provides a forum for business networking that facilitates relationships between our regular members, who are almond growers, hullers, shellers, processors and handlers, and our associate members, who provide products and services used by our regular membership, to ensure our members have access to the latest technology and services that enable them to conduct their businesses as efficiently as possible.

#ICYMI - Almond Alliance and Western United Dairies Help Secure Passage of Legislation to Place Safe Drinking Water, Wildfire Prevention, Drought Preparedness, and Clean Air Bond Act of 2024 on the Ballot “We are excited about the Legislature passing and the acting Governor signing the Climate Bond legislation,” said Blake Vann, chairman of the Almond Alliance. “Our collaborative efforts with DWR on initiatives like LandFlex demonstrate our commitment to innovative solutions that benefit both the environment and our agricultural communities. We look forward to voters approving the bond in November and allowing LandFlex to be a long-term water resiliency program.” https://lnkd.in/gwF9Ryvw
