Today, I had the privilege of attending the Alliance for Eating Disorders & Meta Summit. The quote, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together,” truly resonates with the theme of the day. Being surrounded by some of the most dedicated experts, treatment providers, and advocates in our field was both humbling and inspiring. We engaged in crucial conversations about Meta approach to addressing eating disorder content on its platforms—how to avoid harmful content while promoting resources that support those who are struggling or searching for help. Discovering these best practices reminds me of the power of community and the progress we can make when we work together toward a common goal.
