We are deeply grateful for the community of support that showed up for our 2024 "Light the Way" Gala. Together, we raised over $370,000, lighting the way to continued care services and an end to ALS. A special thank you to Meghan Kahn, a featured speaker at the gala and a person demonstrating what it means to truly live well with ALS. Watch her story here: https://lnkd.in/g3QWtJRa

I wanted to take a minute over here in LinkedIn land to celebrate the team at ALS Northwest for another stellar Gala this past Saturday. This group does such an incredible job of creating a fun and uplifting environment for what would otherwise be a somber event. It’s exactly what those fighting ALS deserve - a night of community, fun, and hope. My family is nearly a decade out from the end of my dads battle with ALS. It never gets easier, but more and more I’m feeling the weight of staying involved and present. So thank you again ALS Northwest - your hard work is evident and appreciated!

It was a memorable evening supporting ALS Northwest at the Light the Way Gala. Thank you Lance Christian for having me back as emcee with the best auctioneer out there, Graham Crow. In attendance was a wonderful resident of our Springs at Lake Oswego community, Connie, whose husband Raymond (Joe) recently lost his battle with ALS. My colleague Wendy and I were honored to have her as our special guest. Thank you to ALS Northwest for allowing me to recognize Connie and Joe, and of course the memory of my father Chuck Hurst as well. #endALS William Preisz, AIF®, CRPS®, CPA
