🌟 Congratulations to the Los Angeles Dodgers on their incredible World Series victory! 🌟 AMAC LA is thrilled to celebrate this historic win with our community. For any AMAC LA members heading out to the upcoming parade in support of the Dodgers, lets organize a casual meet-up to enjoy the energy together and cheer on the blue and white! 💙⚾️ The parade is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. Friday at Gloria Molina Grand Park on Spring Street in front of City Hall. Mayor Karen Bass will kick off the roughly 45-minute route, and Dodger players will travel on double-decker buses from 1st Street, to Grand Avenue, to 5th and Flower streets. My firm, IOC Design and Consulting is proud to announce that it is now ACDBE certified in 12 states! I applied for initial home state certification back in February of 2023 and finally received my certification 8 months later. Then it took another 8 months to get additional NAICS codes approved and now here we are 20 months later from original application submission, certified in the following 12 states: Arizona California Colorado Florida Hawaii Illinois Nevada New York / New Jersey Pennsylvania Texas Washington Metropolitan Washington (DC) Thank you @stacy Mitchell with Modern Times, Inc (MTI) and Martha V. with Airport Minority Advisory Council - LA Chapter who were instrumental in helping me navigate the changes of the super confusing interstate certification process! I couldn’t have done this without you! And thank you AMAC National Office and the Department of Transportation for all your work in helping to improve the overall ACDBE certification process and interstate certification process so that small business owners can participate in airport opportunities!
