October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time to shine a light on the ongoing crisis that impacts people from all walks of life. However, for immigrant and refugee victims, the stakes are even higher, with unique barriers making their situations especially dangerous. Today, we proudly wear purple in solidarity with our local and statewide partners, standing together to raise awareness and show support for victims of domestic violence. At Amani, our mission is deeply rooted in serving victims of crime, and we are grateful to all who work tirelessly every day to support survivors, offering them safety, hope, and healing. Let’s continue to advocate, raise awareness, and create a community where everyone feels protected and heard. 💜

Today, Amani, in partnership with Patchwork Indy, the International Center, and Ivy Tech Community College, is hosting the Indiana’s Changing Landscape Summit.
