The American Gem Society (AGS) is a nonprofit trade association that has stood for consumer protection, ethics, and ongoing education since 1934. Our members are held to the industry's highest standards and our credentialed members, also known as titleholders, are required to pass an annual recertification exam in order to maintain their AGS titles. Members of the AGS are passionate about jewelry and dedicated to creating a positive buying experience for their customers.
