Our thoughts are with Susan Wojcicki’s family, reminding us all that anyone with lungs can be at risk for lung cancer. The American Lung Association is committed to funding research for early detection, which is crucial for saving lives.

Serving as the Pacific West Chair of the Board has been an honor and I look forward to making an impact on the American Lung Association's 2024-2025 national board of directors. Why am I so passionate about lung health? Last week the former CEO of YouTube and one of Google's founders lost her battle with lung cancer. Susan Wojcicki was a 56-year old healthy, non-smoking, runner and swimmer. Lung disease does not discriminate and is one of the leading killers of women. #google #femalefounder #mother #youtube https://lnkd.in/gbYT3YRa
