We had a wonderful Caritas on the Move event in Tallulah! We love being a part of this special community. Thank you to everyone who came out to our event. We are especially thankful for our incredible partners who helped to make this event a resounding success. Together, we were able to provide physical, behavioral, and nutritional wellness education and had the opportunity to share many resources with the community.

At AmeriHealth Caritas Louisiana, we are PASSIONATE about service and meeting members of our community where they are. We are proud to partner with Goodwill Industries of North Louisiana to offer health screenings for communities across the region.

Kids across our Shreveport community are ready to ROCK this new school year! It was our pleasure to host our Back to School Health & Resource Fair last weekend at our Community Wellness & Opportunity Center (3709 Jewella Avenue). We are grateful for the support of partners and our community. We know that, when it comes to improving the health of our state, it takes all of us working together!

To make a meaningful, long-term impact on the health and well-being of our community, we must start by setting our kids on the right path! For this reason, we are proud to support Total Community Action, a nonprofit organization in New Orleans, that is involved in several programs designed to support children and their families, while empowering them to navigate a path out of poverty. Today, AmeriHealth Caritas Louisiana, along with our friends at the New Orleans Pelicans, were proud to present a check to Total Community Action in support of their work. We had the opportunity to attend their head start graduation program and celebrate the achievements of their students. With organizations like Total Community Action hard at work, we know that our future shines bright here in Louisiana! ❤️ 💙
