🌟 At the beginning of the year, we embarked on a journey of kindness, teaming up with Ben's Bells to promote acts of kindness in our school. 💖 The Ben’s Bells program has had a profound impact on our school culture. It plants a seed for our students and teachers to not only think about kindness but to take action in showing kindness.  The Ben’s Bells program emphasizes the "Platinum Rule"—treat others the way they want to be treated. This principle encourages empathy and understanding, promoting a positive and inclusive environment.  As the school year came to a close, we had the honor of recognizing some truly exceptional individuals who embodied this spirit of kindness day in and day out. 🏆 Whether it was a smile, a helping hand, or a thoughtful gesture, these staff members pitched in to make our school a brighter, happier place.   One outstanding staff member from each campus was awarded the Ben's Bells award, and we want to recognize them: 🌟 Shakira Smiljanic - Tucson Campus 🌟 Ileana Figueroa - Yuma North Campus 🌟 Jodi Schmidgall - Yuma South Campus 🌟 Hannah Huggins-Hubbard - Phoenix Campus Our teachers were so proud to receive their Ben's Bells award. ✨As we kick off the new year with fresh energy and excitement, we are taking a moment to highlight and recap both of our Yuma campuses incredible achievements in December. On December 11th - Our district members and executive leadership came together in Yuma, AZ, to celebrate and unveil their newly earned letter grade. A note-worthy mention goes to the Yuma North campus for securing an impressive 🅰️ from the Arizona Department of Education. 🏫👏 Our CEO, Dee Kidd, and Superintendent Dr. James Francis personally honored each teacher with roses, and expressed their appreciation for their dedication and hard work. Our Superintendent, Dr. Francis, delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the collective efforts that fueled our success. Principal Linda McCormack received well-deserved recognition for her exceptional leadership that played a pivotal role in this achievement. 👨👩👧👦 Parents joined us in celebrating the childrens success, as we know how hard our parents work to partner with us. Parents added their enthusiasm and support while high-scoring students were awarded T-Shirts 👕 by Mrs. McCormack and Mr. Sanchez. We are immensely proud of our Yuma campuses and look forward to continued success on this incredible journey.
