Our team in Wisconsin met up earlier this week to build team connection and prepare for the upcoming school year. The 2023-24 service term was a record-breaking year, with Reading Corps and Math Corps tutors in Wisconsin delivering over 10 million minutes of tutoring! Congratulations, Wisconsin, for a job well done, and here's to another year of incredible impact in Wisconsin schools!

AmeriCorps in Action
About us
As a nonprofit organization, we’ve been growing since the early 2000s when our first program, Reading Corps, launched in 2003. Math Corps followed in 2008 and since then we’ve grown to offer programs nationally. Today we offer evidence-based AmeriCorp programs in three focus areas: education, environment and healthy futures. We’re leaders and innovators in national service and employ 200 employees across the country. Together we support more than 2,000 AmeriCorps members as they serve their communities and make an incredible collective impact.

Back in April, CCX Media helped us highlight our partnership with Relentless Academy – a nonprofit offering accessible youth programming and a Summer Impact Corps service site. We recently paid them a visit to learn more about how their programming is supporting students this summer. CCX Media joined us again, and put together the recap linked below! We're proud of our partnership with Relentless Academy, and all of our summer service sites. It's inspiring to see all the ways our Summer Impact Corps members serve! With more than 2,000 tutors on the ground at over 1,900 sites, Reading Corps, Math Corps, and Early Learning Corps are the largest high-impact tutoring programs in the country! As our 20th school year winds down, we want to thank you for being a part of this incredible work. Together, we’ve supported 65,000 students this academic year alone! That’s enough students to fill Chicago's Soldier Field stadium! With your continued support, we’re ready to reach even more students in 2024-25.

We're a week away from launching the 2024 cohort of Summer Impact Corps! Last year, Debra used her service with Summer Impact Corps to gain experience working with young students as she prepared to become a speech-language pathology assistant. But even before that chapter of her professional life, she's been a lifelong learner with a fascinating history. Check out her story at the link below. https://lnkd.in/gBbbhqgB

We're almost ready to kick off a season of change with Summer Impact Corps! In 2023, we completed our first ever term of Summer Impact Corps! AmeriCorps members signed up to serve Minnesota communities in a variety of positions across the state. This year, the program has hired over 300 people to join us again and make an impact. Last year, at Spark-Y Youth Action Labs, Isabelle and Walter coordinated STEM-related activities for middle school students in Minneapolis. Check out their story! https://lnkd.in/gW5RXG-r
