Sometimes, the challenge you think you have isn’t the real issue at all. That’s exactly what Passaic Public Schools discovered. At first, district leaders worried their exam materials weren’t up to standard. But a deeper look revealed a bigger problem—their curriculum, especially instructional materials like textbooks and worksheets, was severely lacking. Once they uncovered the issue, Passaic leaders took swift action. Partnering with us at TNTP, they conducted a full curricular audit and classroom diagnostic, ultimately transforming their curriculum with 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 (HQIM). The results?
