What an exciting on-site hard hat tour! Our team — Don Rissmeyer, Ginny Snead, and Kendall Hughes — recently led the ACEC Virginia (ACEC/VA) Hard Hat Tour at Pine Camp. Attendees had the opportunity to explore the latest design and construction details for stream restoration while being onsite in some amazing weather conditions at the Pine Camp Community Arts Center. It’s always a privilege to see first-hand how collaboration and expertise come together to shape the future of our clients environmental and water quality improvement programs. A special thanks to the City of Richmond, ACEC/VA and EQR for making this event possible! #ACECVA #EQR #AMTEngineering #CityOfRichmond #HardHatTour

We are proud to announce that AMT has been recognized as a winner in the 2024 Virginia Transportation Construction Alliance (VTCA) Engineering Excellence Awards Program. The award was officially presented to Adam C. Kendall, P.E., an AMT Associate and Transportation Group Leader, and Enrique Burgos-Feliz, P.E., Transportation Project Manager, at the VTCA Consultant Forum in Richmond. AMT’s work on the Winterpock Road Widening project won in the "Greater than $10M Design-Bid-Build-non VDOT" category. This $12.5 million project, administered by Chesterfield County and designed by AMT, expanded 1.5 miles of Winterpock Road from two lanes to four lanes to better accommodate current and future traffic. The project included a new hybrid roundabout, upgraded traffic signals, and enhanced pedestrian features such as sidewalks, crosswalks, and shared-use paths. JMT provided construction management and inspection services. A sincere thank you to Chesterfield County and to our partner JMT. Together, we delivered an award-winning project that will serve the community for years to come. #VTCA2024 #AwardWinner #AMTStrong #TeamAMT
