These are some images of the destruction from Helene in my hometown of Burnsville, NC. Western NC has been hit hard, and many of the rural towns are not getting adequate media coverage because of their location. While my family is safe, many are missing and in need of help. I spoke to my mom who is helping the community, about what items may helpful: Canned goods Bleach Hand Sanitizer Batteries Diapers and Wipes Paper Plates Paper Towels and Toilet Paper Toiletries Powdered or Canned Milk Jared McKinney and I will be taking a load of supplies from the Greenville/Spartanburg area this Saturday, 10/5. Nimon Badgley is going to be joining us in bringing supplies from the Hickory, NC area this Saturday, 10/5 My company Amteck, LLC is going to be bringing several supplies to the Marion, NC area on Friday, 10/4 My uncle, a retired Navy vet, James Acuff is taking daily trips from Raleigh to Spruce Pine NC, and in addition to bringing supplies, is helping get people in and out of the area. Our Louisville Service Department has once again proven their technical excellence by successfully completing an intricate electrical installation project at KCC. Their skills and dedication ensured this project was handled with precision, meeting the high standard we strive for on every site. The team installed a top-tier leak detection system, providing early identification of gas leaks and adding a crucial layer of safety to protect both the facility and its personnel. In critical areas of the facility, emergency exhaust fans were installed to activate automatically under hazardous air conditions, enhancing ventilation and ensuring protection for both people and equipment. Additionally, several Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) cabinets were installed, playing a vital role in automating the facility's HVAC systems with the new R-454B Freon. These cabinets were strategically placed to optimize functionality and streamline maintenance. A huge thank you to the entire Louisville team for their dedication and attention to detail. We are proud to announce the upcoming move to our brand-new Pre-Fab facility in Lexington, KY. This expansion is not just about gaining more space; it's a strategic move to enhance operational efficiency for our entire team. The new facility will accommodate our BIM, VDC departments and the Pre-Fabrication shop, allowing for streamlined deliveries and improved organization of our supplies—eliminating previous parking issues at our Lexington HQ. Best of all, it’s less than a minute away, facilitating seamless collaboration. As we finalize the setup for our VDC and BIM employees, we’re excited to share that deliveries have already begun at the new shop. We look forward to seeing how this space will enable our Pre-Fab department to thrive.
