We work to provide housing for all because housing is a human right. From the most vulnerable in our community to those who simply need an affordable, safe place to call home - we are there. Anawim Housing's Monarch Apartments will provide 40 units of Permanent Supportive Housing for individuals experiencing long-term homelessness.

There is an increasing financial need at Anawim Housing. For over 36 years, we have been building homes, hope and community. Our team works tirelessly to provide safe, affordable housing for over 990 families, and Permanent Supportive Housing for over 390 individuals who have exited homelessness across our state. But over the past two years we, like many nonprofits, have experienced an increased cost to serve the populations we serve in housing and a decline in donations. To meet the cost, we need you. Some housing and holiday joy to share out of our location in Council Bluffs - Thanks to a collaboration between Anawim Housing, Heartland Family Service, NEW VISIONS HOMELESS SERVICES, and local landlords- an individual in our Anawim Housing program was able to not only move into housing after experiencing homelessness, but was able to receive a bed, a supply of food to stock their fridge and pantry, and Christmas decorations all on the same day he signed his lease. #homeiseverything #communitypartners #housingforall #homefortheholidays
