Welcome to Anchor Health’s 2023 #Wrapped! We’re so back. 😮💨 In 2023, we cared for 2,300 patients, who made 9,033 visits. We now serve over 3,766 total patients across our health centers in Hamden and Stamford, CT. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ We administered 5,459 HIV and STI tests, 281 mpox vaccines, and 454 COVID-19 vaccines. It’s giving healthy AF. 🫦 Hold up, there’s someone on the line… it’s Anchor Health Pharmacy! Over the last year, our pharmacy served 1,764 patients, and they filled 39,075 prescriptions. 💊 Through our Case Management Program, we have assisted 790 clients with 646 mental health requests and 348 name and gender marker changes in 2023. The program has helped 1,550 clients since it launched in 2020. 👥 Let’s not forget the events that truly mothered this year, from Pride festivals to sexual health fairs. 🥳 That was fun! Thanks for spending 2023 with us. Same time next year? 🤭✌️ Image description: A series of digital illustrations with text repeating from the caption. Happy #InternationalPronounsDay! What are your pronouns? 💬 #PronounsDay seeks to make respecting, sharing, and educating about pronouns commonplace. Referring to someone the way they ask you to is a basic and fundamental sign of respect. It shows that we recognize others for who they are. Let’s work together to create a world that celebrates everyone’s multiple, intersecting identities. Image description: Digital illustration of a starry sky with a rainbow gradient border. Today is #WorldSexualHealthDay! Every September 4, we raise awareness on the importance of sexual health, rights, justice, and pleasure for all. It’s your right to choose if and how you express your sexuality, and your sexual health decisions are yours to make. Every relationship should honor bodily autonomy, promote equality, and respect human rights. ❣️ Image description: Digital illustration of Earth with heart icons floating across continents, surrounded by playful symbols like an eggplant, a peach, cherries, and a condom. Anchor Health is proud to support the 34th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) this #NationalDisabilityIndependenceDay. Every July 26, we celebrate this important civil rights law that works to ensure all people with disabilities have the same rights and opportunities as everyone else.  As we commemorate the ADA’s legacy, we must also acknowledge that collective liberation is impossible in an inaccessible world. Today is a reminder of the ongoing fight for accessibility and inclusion for people with disabilities, both visible and invisible. Uplifting and including disabled people is the only path forward.
