Last week, I attended the Anesis Therapy Multicultural Mental Health Conference. It was incredible! The keynotes shared their powerful stories and the entire day was filled with conversations and insight from impactful thought leaders. Breakout sessions I registered for: The “Civic Compassion: Elected Leaders Address Mental Health” panel with Rep. Sheila Stubbs, Gloria Reyes, Jamie Kuhn, and Mayra McNair. The “Keeping It Real: Culturally Adapted Depression Treatments for African American Adults” panel with Bobbie Briggs, Dr. Earlise Ward, Rick Badger, Min. Pam Soward, and Lucretia Sullivan Wade. The “Breaking the Silence: Diverse Perspectives on Men’s Mental Health” panel with Alwyn Foster, Stacy Clay, Clifton Davis, and Manuel Cerda. Thank you, Anesis!

Last week, I had the privilege of speaking at a conference hosted by the amazing Anesis Therapy team. The conference focused on addressing mental health issues within BIPOC communities, and it was incredible to see the care and intentionality that went into the planning and execution of the event. I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to speak on one of my greatest passions—advocating for the value of self-care! I am looking forward to next year!!!

Last week, our Executive Director Meaghan Henry attended the Anesis Therapy Multicultural Mental Health Conference. The conference brought thought leaders and experts together to reshape discussions, share knowledge and promote initiatives for better representation in mental health. Chief Juvenile Court Judge Everett Mitchell opened the conference with his inspiring story of service and commitment to protecting children, a mission he continues on the National CASA Judicial Council. We had an incredible time at the Anesis Multicultural Mental Health Conference! Our CEO, Bre Loughlin, MS, RN, led a powerful discussion on "Bridging the Gap: Telehealth Innovations for Accessible Mental Health Services." The conversation sparked engaging dialogue on the importance of #Techquity, which inspired Bre's founding of #NurseDisrupted and inspires our team every day. It was incredible to connect with so many passionate professionals dedicated to advancing mental health care for everyone, regardless of background or location. We're proud to be part of this vibrant community, focusing on #DigitalInclusion and breaking down barriers to care. A big thank you to Anesis Therapy and Myra McNair LMFT for hosting such a meaningful event, and to everyone who stopped by to chat with us! To share the work that Pamela Ramsey and William (Rick) Badger have done was inspiring and invaluable. 💥 #AnesisConference #MentalHealthcare #VirtualNursing #BridgingTheGap
