We had the incredible opportunity to bring together 23 parent, provider, and policy groups united by a shared mission of supporting and advocating for NICU babies, families, and their care teams. This special gathering in our Nashville office fostered and rekindled deep connections, important dialogue, and many expressions of love for the vital work we all do. We learned from each other, were inspired by one another, and left reminded of the essential mission we have to elevate and support one another. Our thanks to all of you for joining us. Together, we continue to make a difference!

Last week, the Science and Soul Conference in Boston highlighted the importance of building strong, trauma-informed connections with NICU families. As a proud sponsor, AngelEye Health was thrilled to be part of such a meaningful event. The conference focused on compassionate communication and real-time engagement to enhance families' connection with their babies while highlighting the need for a holistic approach that blends emotional support with practical solutions. Our mission aligns with the conference's focus—supporting families by keeping them informed, involved, and connected. Thanks to Mary Coughlin MS, NNP, NCC-E, Caritas Coach® for such a meaningful event and those who stopped by our booth to visit with us.

We had a fantastic day with the leaders shaping the future of pediatric innovation and outcomes at the inaugural Midwest Pediatric Device Consortium conference. Our very own Adrian Rodriguez joined a panel of esteemed colleagues to share more about medical device innovation, our vision for the NICU of tomorrow, and our commitment to improving outcomes. Thank you to Nationwide Children's Hospital, Cincinnati Children's Hospital, Cleveland Clinic, and The Ohio State University for your commitment to pediatric innovation. Congratulations to McKay Noll, Dr. Cory Criss, Project Medtech, and your teams for a successful first year of the consortium. We are honored to be a small part of it and are excited to see what the future holds.

One of our Clinical Advisors, Mary Coughlin MS, NNP, NCC-E, Caritas Coach®, just posted an important new blog post on child maltreatment in the NICU. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a place of immense fragility, where the smallest and most vulnerable among us fight for survival. Clinicians work tirelessly to provide life-saving care, often under intense pressure. However, even in this highly specialized environment, there are moments when well-meaning actions—or inactions—can unintentionally result in harm. This is where the concept of child maltreatment within a healthcare context becomes critically important. Click to read the blog. We’re proud to support Mary by participating in next week’s 4th Annual Trauma-Informed Developmental Care Conference in Boston. If you're attending, stop by and visit.

As September and NICU Awareness Month come to a close, AngelEye Health recognizes the incredible strength and resilience of NICU families. We understand that the journey through the NICU can be overwhelming—not only emotionally and physically but also financially. Many families face financial hardship due to a lack of resources or services not covered by insurance. To support these families, we're sharing the Financial Funding Guide, created by Tammy Simmons, founder of The Funding Project. This comprehensive guide, the result of years of research and personal experience, provides NICU families with simple, effective fundraising strategies to help alleviate the financial stress of a NICU stay.
