We had a fantastic time kicking off a Comprehensive Plan project earlier this week for the City of Jersey Village with our friends at TJKM Transportation Consultants and ASH+LIME. It was a pleasure connecting with City Manager Austin Bleess and the engaged members of the Comprehensive Plan Update Committee. While there, we enjoyed a great lunch at Adriatic Cafe Italian Grill and dropped in at Senate Avenue Brewing Company for some tasty beverages. We were impressed by Jersey Village's quaint neighborhoods and the beautiful live oak trees that line the streets when observed during an exploration of the community to see firsthand what makes it such a special place to raise a family. We are thrilled to announce that today marks the first day of our newest planner in the Chicago office: Soyeon Jang! Originally from South Korea, Soyeon holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Korea National University of Arts and a Master of Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois Chicago with a Geospatial Analysis and Visualization (GSAV) certificate. When one of our talented engineers from the Texas office came to Chicago recently, we knew we had to give her a Chicago experience to remember.
