A. Lima, Natalie Preisig, Cosima Stubenrauch #Highlights: 1. 🌊 Surfactants with longer alkyl chains (e.g., β-C10G2, β-C12G2, β-C14G2) exhibited significantly enhanced foam stability, maintaining foam volume for over 1 hours, compared to shorter chain surfactants like β-C8G1 and β-C8G2. 2. 🔬 The additional glucose unit in β-C8G2 increased stability through stronger H-bonds between neighboring head groups. 3. 📊 Foam properties were systematically analyzed under varying conditions of concentration, disk porosity, and N2 flow rates.
